Liaoning Province Science and Technology Museum

　　Liaoning Province Science and Technology Museum is a huge comprehensive science and technology museum，integrating science education, technology exchange, talent development, and scientific innovation. The building area is 102,508 square meters with 8 permanent exhibition halls and 813 exhibits. There are 14 science studios, 4 science education theaters, and 1 fantasytheater, dedicated to creating a "warm and inviting science and technology museum" and a high-quality "Scientific Center for All".

　　Since its opening, the museum has held over 10,000 science education activities, receiving 15 million visitors. It has cooperated with 330 schools, developed 100 educational brands, and created 500 educational resource packages, benefiting 120,000 students. It has carried out mobile science education resources programs, reaching 3.23 million people. It has developed digital science education resources and built online platforms, producing over 350 science micro-videos and 60 original branded programs annually, with over 20 million views. All this contributes to improving public scientific literacy through high-quality modern science museum construction.

　　The museum holds youth science competitions, elite talent selections and other projects, involving 150,000 participants annually. It has held five Liaoning Advanced Technology Exhibitions, receiving 3 million visitors. It organizes various innovation training and competitions, serving 1,000 schools and companies and training/involving over 10,000 participants annually. This cultivates high-level scientific innovation talents to boost Liaoning's innovation and development.

　　The museum has initiated theUnion of Liaoning Science and TechnologyMuseums and Liaoning Science Education Base Union, leading 16 science museums and 105 bases to reshape core values and co-build a major science education landscape. It  initiated the Liaoning Science Popularization Industry Development Promotion Union, involving 123 sci-tech companies to construct Liaoning's science popularization industry development. It initiated the Northeast 3 Provinces and 1 Region Science Museum Union, uniting 129 museums in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia to jointly write a new chapter of cooperative science education in the new era.

　　In recent years, the museum has received over 100 provincial/ministerial honors including "National Science Education Base", "National Advanced Science Popularization Organization"and"Liaoning May 1st Labor Award" .

　　辽宁省科学技术馆是一座集科学教育、科技交流、人才培养、科技创新于一体的综合性特大型科技馆，建筑面积102508平方米，设有8个常设展厅，813件展项；建有14间科学工作室、4种科普特效影院及1座梦幻剧场，致力于打造“有温度的科技馆”,高质量创建“全民科学中心”。

　　开馆以来，举办各类科普教育活动1万余场次，接待公众1500万人次；馆校合作330所，研发活动品牌100个，开发教育活动资源包500项，覆盖学生12万人；开展流动科普资源普惠行动，累计受众323万人次；研发数字科普资源、打造线上科普平台，年均制播科普微视频350余部、原创品牌栏目60部，阅读量2000万次，以高质量的现代科技馆体系建设助力全民科学素质提升。

　　举办青少年品牌科技竞赛、拔尖人才选拔培养等项目，年均参与15万人；举办5届辽宁先进技术展，接待公众300万人；举办各类创新方法培训和大赛，年均服务校企单位1000家，培训、参赛1万余人次，以高水平的科技创新人才培养助力辽宁创新发展。

　　先后牵头成立辽宁省科技馆联盟和辽宁省科普教育基地联盟，引领16家科技馆、105家科普教育基地重塑核心价值，共建大科普格局；成立辽宁省科普产业发展促进联盟，吸纳123家科技企业、机构，构建辽宁科普产业发展新篇章；发起成立东北三省一区科普场馆联盟，联合辽吉黑蒙四省区129家科普场馆，共同书写新时代科普联合的生动实践。

　　近年来获评“全国科普教育基地”“全国科普工作先进集体”“辽宁五一劳动奖状”等100余项省部级荣誉。
